Collinsville Wrestler is Top Three in the Nation

One Collinsville wrestler my have a small-town role, but he has a nation-wide vision.

Jordan Williams is a sophomore here at CHS, and he has been outstanding in his wrestling career so far. Jordan is ranked number three in the country in the one-hundred twenty weight category. In his latest competition, the 2019 USMC Cadet and Junior National Championships (Fargo) in North Dakota, Williams placed first with a win of 6-5 against Zeke Seltzer of Indiana. Jordan has been wrestling for seven years. His go-to move is a duck under. Jordan’s biggest inspiration is Bo Nickal from Penn State University. Jordan hopes to go to college for wrestling and obtain a degree in business.

This wrestling season, make sure to keep your eye out for Jordan Williams. He will be wrestling soon in the Super 32 tournament in Greensbrough, North Carolina mid-October.
